Swimming - leisure level
It is easier to train efficiently when swimming in a specific team compared with swimming alone. The feeling of getting carried through the lanes by class members, going with the flow and following the rhythm, is something everyone should experience. The pools are not open to the public during classes.
This summer is a little different than others. We have to train outdoors and therefore have fewer teams. We have times in the harbor bath at Fisketorvet, and then we also have our offer of open water swimming. When you sign up for the teams, be aware that you must be able to swim at least 50 meters without a break.
In KSI the social activities are kind of part of the training. This means that even if some prefer to swim alone, we also practice community. This means, among other things, that you get sparring partners, joint development and thereby can use each other to get even more out of your workout.
It is important that you choose a team in accordance to your level. The coach can move you to another level if you chose wrong.
Read about the specific levels and classes under the tabs "Niveauer" and "Hold".

We attend competitions sometimes a year. The Danish championships for teams (DM-H) are the only competition with compulsory participation, although it is up to you whether you want to participate in the rest of the season's competitions. Many of the club's members also participate in Masters competitions both nationally and internationally.
The Club has a good social life and Friday evening usually follows a nice gathering after training.
