Kung Fu 

In Kung Fu you will learn the fascinating movement patterns of self-defense. You will learn fun, intelligent and fluid movement patterns!

Kung Fu should be construed as body and brain gymnastics, but is also a complex game with options, rules, frameworks and tactical considerations. Kung Fu is like a body based chess game.

In Kung Fu you seek, through simple and cunning movements, the fastest way to overcome physically superior opponents and to navigate in combat with multiple opponents. During the season beginners learn how to handle common selfdefense situations. Experienced participants will train advanced attacks along with the highest forms: Snake style, wooden dummy power, weapons and sticky hands.

You will work with deepening of concentration, coordination, conditioning, strength, attention and tactile awareness. Kung Fu represents a unique approach to martial arts based on ancient insights. All training will be conducted in a safe and relaxed environment.

 

The class typically consists of: 

  • 15 min: Exercises giving increased mobility and flexibility and increases coordination, rhythm and precision + theory 

  • 65 min: Kung Fu techniques and real-life usage 

  • 30 min: Martial Arts Power Workout

  • 10 min: Yoga based stretching, relaxation and theory
