Main Season 2019/20

As instructor at the below workshops, we have hired former Danish champion in bouldering, Katrine Elsig.

  

Technology workshop (beginners/intermediate) - 2 days - Saturday 28th September and Sunday 29th September


At this workshop we work with the basic tooling techniques, and you get kickstarted your climbing. We especially focus on the foot technique, the importance of the hip for the movement and basic movement patterns. We will also work a bit with climbing tactics (= lane reading).

Venue: The boulder wall - 2 x 2 hours.

 

The boulder wall is available for free training afterwards.

Technique workshop (intermediate/experienced) - two days, Saturday 2nd November and Sunday 3rd November


If the flags, smear and rockover sound new and exciting, then you definitely need to go to the engineering workshop for easy-to-practice / practiced. Here we work with these and other advanced climbing techniques as well as methods for improving your climbing. Among other things, we must make video analysis, practice routing and talk about strategies for the really difficult boulder problems.

Venue: The boulder wall - 2 x 2 hours.

Workshop on dynamic movements ((intermediate/experienced) - Saturday 23rd November


In modern bouldering, jumps and jumps are becoming more and more, and this is the theme of this workshop. We have to work with dynamic movements from deadpoint-flow to running-dynos as well as sub-exercises for offsetting, kip, swing etc.

Prerequisites: You must at least have climbed a climbing event for an entire season.

Venue: The boulder wall - 2 hours.

Workshop in physical climbing training - Saturday 26th October - 10am-12am


Do you feel that your physique prevents you from getting to the top? At this workshop we will work with the basic principles of strength training. We go through some theory and a lot of practice for how to get more strength, power and endurance. It's all from a climbing perspective.

Venue: The boulder wall - 2 hours.

Workshop on injury prevention training - Saturday 26th October - 1am-3am


Do you suffer from pain or injuries to the wrists, elbows or shoulders? Many injuries can be prevented and remedied by training, and at this workshop we focus on the damage that most often occurs when climbing. We must talk about the causes of these injuries and work with preventative practice exercises. There are also a few good tips on first aid and rehabilitation.

Venue: We meet by the boulder wall - with access to weights/elastics - 2 hours
